If we cannot reach you via phone an e-mail will be attempted for confirmation purposes. Should you NOT hear from us within a short time, please call (703) 578-3663. **

To Order by Telephone:
1) Call Takeout Taxi at (703) 578-3663 to place your order.
2) Customer Service Representatives are available Monday-Friday at 9 AM. They are available on Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM. Our closing time each day is 10 PM.

How long will it take to receive the delivery?
Normal delivery time is generally between 45-60 minutes. However, delivery time may vary depending upon:
1) Weather and traffic conditions
2) Restaurant prep times
3) Size of order
4) Peak times and overall business volume
We encourage that you plan and place your order well in advance in order to reserve a specific delivery time. This is highly recommended especially for catering events. We welcome orders hours, days or weeks in advance.

What is the minimum and cost for delivery?
1) We have a food minimum of $15.00 for each restaurant selected.
2) A flat fee for delivery applies regardless of how large the order. The fee varies from $6.99 to $9.99 depending on your distance from the selected restaurant. You may call for specifics.
3) A modest Miscellaneous Supplies, Service and Convenience Fee of 10% apply to each order.
4) All required State and Local Taxes apply. Due to differing requirements of the varying municipalities we service, the online taxation amount is a close approximation. The exact amount will be provided by our Customer Service Representative when they confirm your order.  
5) We recommend a 15% Driver Gratuity for their efforts in serving you since the delivery fee is NOT wholly part of their compensation. As an additional service and convenience to you, our Customer Service Representatives will offer to include the Driver Gratuity to the order on your behalf. For Business/Corporate orders totaling greater than $50.00 the Driver Gratuity is calculated and included on your behalf. However, this may be increased should you feel it is appropriate. Our drivers thank you in advance for your generosity.
6) A nominal temporary fuel surcharge may apply.
7) Out-of-Zone and long distance deliveries may carry additional requirements. You may call for specifics.

Methods of Payment:
1) We accept Cash and all major credit cards (MC/VISA, Diners, Discover & American Express).
2) MC/VISA Check Debit bank cards.
3) For your protection against credit and debit card fraud and in order to provide you with a receipt, the driver MUST be presented with the card to record the imprint. Should you desire an alternate arrangement, please contact our office in advance of completing your order.   
4) Business/personal/travelers checks upon approval.
5) Direct billing accounts are available for frequent corporate clients. Call us for details.

What beverages are available?
1) 12 oz. cans of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Sierra Mist, as well as 20 oz. bottles of Aquafina Water, Lipton Ice Tea, and Lipton Lemonade
2) Place settings and serving utensils are available for a nominal charge.

• In order to promptly and efficiently deliver your meals, we transmit your order electronically to the restaurant. Once we have confirmed your Internet/Fax order or concluded your telephonic communication with our Customer Service Representative, the order is final. NO CANCELLATIONS are possible because upon transmission to the restaurant, we commit to pay the restaurant on your behalf.

• All credit and debit cards are automatically preauthorized prior to Takeout Taxi placing your order with the restaurant. The temporary preauthorization is provided by your banking institution for your protection/security and assures Takeout Taxi that the card is valid and the requested funds are available. This temporary preauthorization is controlled and eliminated by your banking institution upon final presentation of your actual charge amount...
• Gift Certificate and Gift Credits - These gifts are sold for your convenience and dining pleasure. All "Gift" sales are final and cannot be returned or refunded. They may only be redeemed for Takeout Taxi goods and services within our defined delivery areas and may not be redeemd for cash or other monetary refund.
• Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 processing fee in addition to the initial check amount. Check repayment and processing fees may be affected via cash, money order, credit card or debit card. If Takeout Taxi receives a returned check, and the customer with the same name has used a credit card or debit card validly with Takeout Taxi, and said account number(s) are on file with Takeout Taxi from previous customer orders, then Takeout taxi reserves the right to charge the credit card or debit card to collect funds owed Takeout Taxi.
